Company Founders:  Harry Rouse & Rick D. Clark

 

With over 30 years in the construction industry, ranging from all phases of construction to various positions in contract administration, project management and marketing.  Harry has extensive experience in construction regulations and in the compliance requirements of government funded projects.  His holistic approach to design and construction offers clients alternatives to meet today's "green" demands for energy efficiency and for the preservation of efficient use of natural resources.  

Harry has previously owned a construction company and his philosophy is to treat each client's projects uniquely in order to meet their individual requirements.  Serving in the position of Deputy Director of Savannah, Georgia's Model Cities Program,  he played a significant role with the management team charged with restoring that city's historical residential and commercial downtown.  The program was primarily funded via state and federal grants.

Harry has a BA Degree from Clark College, in Atlanta, Georgia and has further studied at Georgia State University in Urban Planning and Policy Decision Making toward his Master of Science Degree.  He has been a patron of and has completed various construction related courses at The Southface Energy Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.  He is MBE certified with several government agencies, as well as with the Georgia Minority Supply Development Council (GMSDC), which certifies for Fortune 1000 companies.  He also has his DBE certification with the State of Georgia.

Rick Clark is the founder of Keystone Development Inc. and serves as its President and CEO.  Rick is serving as Past President of the Lake Oconee Area Builder’s Association (LOABA) and State Director for the Home Builder’s Association of Georgia (HBAG).  Rick also serves as a Director for the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce.  Rick and his wife Beverly are members of the Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church and have 3 children Megan age 5, Colin age 2, and Kaitlyn age1.  Rick and his family reside in Cuscowilla and enjoy their membership there as well as their membership in the Lake Oconee Shooting Club. 

Rick graduated with the 2007 Leadership Putnam class.  Rick’s company Keystone is playing a key role in the Historic Renovation of the downtown Eatonton school that will now serve the community as the Eatonton-Putnam Arts Center.

Rick possesses a passionate dedication and desire to succeed, and the understanding of key concepts, tools, and strategies to successfully provide senior leadership to an organization.  Rick is a 25-year business veteran with expertise in Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Sales.   

Rick has successfully completed the Advanced Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Chapman University in Orange, California.  Rick has also attended specialized courses in Market Management, Strategic Quality Planning, Effective Speaking and Human Relations, and Managing Performance.
